Join Kean University for a Black History Month event hosted by the KFT Social Justice Committee on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. 

Gwen Carr is an American activist, public speaker, author of "This Stops Today" and the mother of the late Eric Garner, who was tragically killed by a New York Police Department officer. She has become active in police reform in the United States, and is a member of Mothers of the Movement and a voice in the Black Lives Matter movement.

Featuring Distinguished Guest: Dr. Roberto Schiraldi, social justice advocate, mental health counselor and author.
