What is TEDxKean University?

TEDxKean Uiversity is a local, self-organized event. initiative dedicated to empowering individuals through ideas. Holding the license to host TEDx events at Kean University, our goal is to foster an environment for spreading ideas and sparking deep conversations. By bringing together live speakers and TED Talks videos, TEDxKean Uiversity serves as a catalyst to connect individuals from diverse backgrounds. We hope to challenge the Kean community to think critically, embrace new perspectives, and be motivated to make a positive impact on our world.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxKeanUniversity, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxKeanUniversity event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
