I believe that teaching in higher education needs to be student centered. Student centered learning creates a motivational engaging experience for students. I use my expertise, enthusiasm and compassion to equip students with the academic skills they need to be successful and involved learners. My goal is to foster critical thinking skills that students will not only use in the classroom, but in real world experiences as well. I encourage students to be inquisitive and seek answers. Above all I feel that the students experience in the classroom should give them tools to be successful in all aspects of life.
