Remote Operations at Kean University

Following state guidance due to extreme weather in areas across New Jersey, Kean University will shift to remote operations at 4:30 p.m. today.

Classes that begin at 4:30 p.m. or later will be conducted remotely. Employees should leave their offices by 4:30 p.m. and are not expected to work the remainder of the day.

Only employees essential during weather emergencies should report to campus after 4:30 p.m. Employees with questions about their status should consult their supervisor.

Keanu’s Kitchen will remain open for residential students until 9 p.m.

Gina Gili earned her master’s degree in communication from Kean University and her bachelor’s degree in television and radio from William Paterson University. She has worked promotions for a series of radio stations along the Jersey Shore as well as for the NBA. Gili has also previously worked as a video editor for Fox News. At Kean, Gili teaches communication as critical citizenship, social media and a variety of television production courses. She also serves as the adviser for KeanTV , oversees all student content for Union TV-36 and is a recipient of the Presidential Excellence Award.
