Each student has a unique creative talent. My responsibility is to help them realize their full artistic potential by developing discipline and the ability to teach themselves how to learn music on many levels including technique and interpretative skills. My teaching is informed by my extensive experience as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral principal flutist and recording artist.

The diverse mixture of students and the opportunity to really make a difference in the students' lives is the best part about teaching at Kean. 

I learn from my students and this keeps me excited about teaching.
