Matthew has been a technical director and production manager for regional theatres such as ACT Theatre in Seattle and the Shakespeare Theatre of NJ, and has toured with Mark Morris Dance Group, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane, the Collective Unconscious, and the first national tour of Parade. He is currently the technical director for the Kean University Theatre Conservatory and Premiere Stages.
