Teaching Philosophy
As an educator, it is my goal to create a sense of community and belonging in the classroom. I believe the use of collaborative learning strategies enables the students to learn from a variety of perspectives beyond that of one instructor. I am continuously working to identify ways to improve student engagement and account for the role of the classroom experiences in the process of both student learning and persistence.
