Kean University is expanding its General Education Learning Communities program this fall, bringing more than half of the Class of 2029 into themed cohorts that emphasize hands-on learning, faculty collaboration and community engagement.
Kean announced the Coalport Neighborhood Revitalization Planning Project, led by the John S. Watson Institute for Urban Policy and Research and the Michael Graves College School of Public Architecture, with plans for new housing, economic and employment opportunities to support residents.
Kean students in the Public Relations Campaigns course are creating PR campaigns for clients in business, the arts and more as a way to build career skills and develop professional networks through their classwork. They are also getting feedback from Kean alumni who are now professionals in the field.
