An exuberant crowd of students, friends and family members filled Wilkins Theatre on Kean University’s Union campus on Saturday, May 6 for the 36th annual African Heritage Graduation, a cultural celebration of graduates of African descent.
Kean University honors graduates took center stage at Honors Convocation on Friday, May 5, marking an annual celebration for students graduating with the highest levels of academic achievement.
Kean students learned about emergency medicine and career opportunities during a campus visit from the state’s JEMSTAR EMS helicopter, arranged by the College of Health Professions and Human Services.
Author and investigative reporter Jodi Kantor, of The New York Times, and critically acclaimed actress and Kean alumna Holly Taylor ’21 will be the featured speakers at Kean University’s graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies in May.
