UNION, N.J. –– Premiere Stages, the professional Equity theatre in residence at Kean University, received a Leadership Award from the Cultural Access Network Project (CAN) for its exemplary work with actors, playwrights, directors, and other theatre artists with disabilities.

Billy Porter has presence. That’s one thing the Broadway star made clear to the Kean University students who attended his master class on Thursday, April 27.

Sins Invalid is a disability justice-based performance project that celebrates artists with disabilities, artists of color and LGBTQ and gender-variant artists through provocative works that challenge paradigms of “normal” and “sexy.”
