Dean David Mohney Speaks at AIA Shanghai Event

Michael Graves College Dean David Mohney was recently featured in a panel discussion on design and academic planning hosted by AIA Shanghai.  Academic planning in China has traditionally followed consistent practices and implementation but shifting direction in Chinese policy has placed greater emphasis on developing a new generation of professionals. Contemporary challenges have provided impetus for seeking new ideas in campus and building design for education.

Mohney, a noted architect, AIA fellow, and the Dean of a joint-venture US-China campus collaboration, shared his insights and expertise with attendees at the event, highlighting best practices and recent innovations. Cliff Pearson, the former editor of Architecture Record Magazine and the new director of USC’s American Academy in China, served as event moderator.  To learn more about the Michael Graves College click here.
