Kean University Earns Four Collegiate Advertising Awards

A video feature on the Kean women's championship swim team won a gold award from CAA.

Kean University was recently recognized with four national honors at the 2023 Collegiate Advertising Awards (CAA). 

Kean earned gold awards for its college brochures and a video feature on the University’s championship women’s swimming team, while also claiming silver awards for its Urban Impact podcast and its outdoor transit advertising campaign, namely the “World-Class Education” bus wraps.

Kean’s University Relations division, led by Vice President Karen Smith, is responsible for creating the University’s marketing and public relations videos, print and published materials; Urban Impact podcast; and Kean News.

The CAA recognizes higher education institutions and organizations from across the nation for excellence in communications, marketing, advertising and promotions of their schools. The submissions were reviewed by a national panel of industry experts. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.
