Kean University was named to TIME’s inaugural America’s Best Colleges 2026-2027 list
Kean University has been named to TIME’s inaugural list of America’s Best Colleges 2026-2027, recognizing the University among 500 institutions nationwide for strong student outcomes, a supportive learning environment and its attractiveness to prospective students.
The new ranking, presented by TIME and Statista Inc., analyzed thousands of colleges and universities across the United States using federal data.

America’s Best Colleges 2026-2027 evaluates institutions using measures that include graduation rates, post-graduate success, faculty resources, academic support and attractiveness to prospective students. The methodology is based entirely on federal data, providing a consistent benchmark across institutions regardless of size, selectivity or reputation.
