Anticipated Tenure-Track Faculty Position, School of Criminal Justice & Public Administration Fall 2019

This is a ten-month, full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position, effective September 1, 2019. Teaching assignments and related responsibilities may include day, evening, weekend and online courses. Courses are taught at the Union campus and may include assignments at Kean Ocean in Toms River, New Jersey or other locations.
All tenure-track faculty are expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and an on-going program of research and publication or creative and performance activity. Participation in curriculum development, student advisement and service at the departmental/school, college, university and community level is also required. Interest or experience in using advanced instructional technologies to improve the teaching/learning process is highly desirable. All positions are subject to availability of funds, due to financial exigencies.

School of Criminal Justice and Public Administration
Criminal Justice (Cybersecurity – Crime Analysis) – to develop and teach undergraduate and graduate level courses supporting criminal justice and computer science studies related to cybersecurity, cybercrime and crime analysis. In addition to teaching, faculty responsibilities include research, student advisement and program assessment and growth.
Qualifications: Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in criminal justice, criminology or a related field with specialization(s) in cybersecurity, cybercrime or crime analysis. ABD considered with completion date by September 1, 2019. A Juris Doctorate is not considered the appropriate terminal degree for this position.
