About Kean Global

Kean Global is the online division of Kean University, established to serve adult learners — working professionals, returning students, career changers, and military veterans — who need a flexible, affordable path to a respected university degree.

We are part of Kean University’s Division of Transformational Learning and External Affairs, and we operate as a distinct unit with our own team, mission, and approach to serving students who can’t put their lives on pause to go back to school.

Kean Global exists to expand access to high-quality, career-relevant higher education for adult learners — removing the barriers of schedule, cost, and geography that have historically kept working people from earning a degree.

We believe a university should adapt to the people it serves. Every decision we make — how programs are structured, how advising works, how we recognize prior learning — flows from that belief.

Kean Global is led by people who came to this work because they believe access to higher education changes lives — and that adult learners deserve the same quality, support, and ambition that any student does.

Kean Global programs are offered through Kean University, accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Every degree earned through Kean Global carries the same institutional accreditation and academic standing as a degree earned on campus.
