At Kean Global, your advisor is with you from your first inquiry through graduation. We’ll help you build your degree plan, navigate transfer credits and Credit for Prior Learning, manage your course load around work and life, and help you stay on track when things get complicated.
What your advisor will do for you:
- Degree planning: Map every credit into a clear, realistic path to graduation.
- Course registration: Help you select the right courses each term to stay on track without overloading your schedule.
- Prior Learning navigation: Identify which of your professional experiences, certifications, or military service may qualify for college credit.
- Ongoing check-ins: Proactive outreach. If you’re falling behind, your advisor will notice and reach out first.

Tutoring Services & Writing Center
Tutoring is offered by Kean University’s Nancy Thompson Learning Commons. Librarians and tutors are ready to directly help with writing, academic coaching, public speaking, as well as through Learning Support Services Workshops.
Mental Health & Wellness Services
The Kean Wellness Center provides holistic, integrated health and wellness services for the entire campus community.
Library & Research Support
Library services are provided by the Nancy Thompson Learning Commons. Whether it's helpful tips on accessing the plenty of research tools available or assistance locating reference material, you're covered!
