Tuition is charged per credit, giving you the ability to plan your course load around your needs. Your total cost will depend on your program and the number of credits you need to complete your degree.

Make Your Experience Count

Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) allows you to earn college credit for eligible knowledge and skills gained outside the classroom, including through professional experience, military service and industry credentials. Earning credit for prior learning can help reduce the time and cost of completing your degree.

Examples of Prior Learning 

  • Work Experience: Current or past employment
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in a language other than English
  • Certifications and Licenses: Professional, occupational or industry credentials
  • Standardized Exams: CLEP, DSST or other credit-by-exam options
  • Courses and Training: Noncredit, workplace or continuing education
  • Life and Leadership Experience: Volunteering, community work or personal achievements
  • Military Service: Active-duty and veteran service members may receive credit for military training through ACE evaluations

Paying for Your Degree

Kean Global students may be eligible for federal financial aid, including grants and loans. Complete the FAFSA to determine your eligibility for federal financial aid.

Federal Pell Grants

Need-based grants for eligible undergraduate students that generally do not need to be repaid. Eligibility is determined by completing the FAFSA.

Subsidized and unsubsidized federal loans are available to eligible students. Repayment begins after you graduate, leave school or drop below half-time enrollment.

How to Apply

Ready to get started? Follow these steps to apply to Kean Global.

Start Your Application 
Contact an Admissions Counselor

  1. Choose Your Program: Browse the program directory to find the degree or certificate that fits your goals. Not sure which program is right for you? An admissions counselor can help.
  2. Complete Your Application: Submit the Kean University online application. There is no application fee for Kean Global students.
  3. Submit Your Transcripts: Request official transcripts from all colleges and universities you previously attended.
  4. Complete the FAFSA: If you plan to apply for federal financial aid, submit the FAFSA as early as possible.
  5. Meet With Your Advisor: Before classes begin, meet with your Kean Global advisor to review your transfer credits and Credit for Prior Learning options and develop your degree plan.
  6. Register for Classes: Once admitted, register for your courses and get access to Canvas. Classes begin in Fall, Spring and Summer.
