Research Interests
My research interest lies at the intersection of ontology and natural language processing (NLP), with a focus on structuring the context using ontologies to enhance the efficiency of NLP tasks. Specifically, I explore methods to extract Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) from unstructured clinical text using large language models (LLMs). Additionally, a parallel research interest in addressing the ethical challenges associated with AI, ensuring responsible and equitable deployment of these technologies.
