Lab Safety: Awareness & Training
Laboratory Safety begins with awareness and continues with training.
Basic safety: watch the safety orientation video, then read and sign the appropriate Safety Packet. The signed Lab Safety Agreement should be scanned and emailed to the NJCSTM Safety Officer, Nan Perigo, at email@example.com or delivered to her mailbox in the main office in STEM 513.
Researchers in STEM should also be sure to read the complete NJCSTM Laboratory Safety Manual, as well as the Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan (biological hazards) and/or the Chemical Hygiene Plan (chemical hazards). See below for links.
Please contact Nan Perigo for any questions or concerns regarding training or safety in the NJ Center for Science, Technology & Mathematics: firstname.lastname@example.org or 908-737-7227.
