UNION, N.J. – Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Jonathan Larson’s iconic musical RENT, Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp will perform as part of Kean Stage's 2016-2017 Broadway Concert Series on Saturday, October 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Gene & Shelley Enlow Recital Hall at Kean University, 215 North Ave. in Hillside. Tickets are $45-65.

In Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp Live! the duo will perform a variety of Broadway favorites including songs from the Pulitzer Prize winning RENT, re-imagined Broadway covers, and original material from both of the artists’ solo shows. Between songs, Pascal and Rapp will share some of their favorite anecdotes from their Broadway careers, including their experiences working on RENT and their most recent Broadway adventures as cast members of Disaster! and If/Then, respectively.

Pascal recently returned to Broadway’s Nederlander Theatre, where RENT was performed for years, in the new hit musical Disaster!. Previously, he appeared in Aida, Chess alongside Josh Groban and Idina Menzel, Chicago, Memphis and many other Broadway shows. Pascal was featured in films School of Rock, RENT and others, and has released three solo albums and is working on his 4th. He is currently developing a new musical based on progressive rock band Queensryche’s concept album Operation Machine.

Rapp recently finished the national tour of If/Then where he was reprising his role from the original Broadway production opposite Menzel. He has been seen on and off-Broadway in Precious Sons, Some Americans Abroad, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown and Six Degrees of Separation. Rapp appeared in the film A Dangerous Mind, and in 2000, released his debut album, Look Around. He is preparing an off-Broadway run of his new musical based on his best-selling book, Without You: A Memoir of Love, Loss and the Musical Rent.
