Kean’s main campus in Union is experiencing power outages in some University buildings. Staff are working with PSE&G to resolve the problem. Classes on the main campus will be conducted remotely, and employees on the main campus may work remotely for the remainder of the day.

Due to extremely high temperatures and poor air quality forecasted for tomorrow, Tuesday, June 24, Employee Appreciation Day will be rescheduled.

All employees on Kean USA campuses can work remotely, and classes will also be conducted remotely on Tuesday. Essential employees should report to work as scheduled. Anyone with questions about their status should consult their supervisor. Cougars Den will operate on an 11-3 pm schedule for tomorrow, Tuesday, June 24.

Kean University offers Notary services free of charge to students, faculty and staff for Kean-related business only.

This service is offered Monday through Friday, during normal business hours, at the following campus locations (subject to change):

Certification Office – Hennings Hall 214
General Accounting – Administration Building, 2nd floor
Human Resources - Administration Building, 2nd floor
Nathan Weiss, East Campus - Suite 211
Payroll - Administration Building, 2nd floor
Procurement and Business Services – Maintenance Building 134

Those seeking Notary services must present a valid Kean University ID. Documents must be signed in the presence of the Notary. Please be advised that the decision to notarize a document is at the discretion of the Notary.
