Transfer Advisement Days

During Transfer Advisement Days, deposited transfer students will receive mandatory pre-registration advisement. During your session, you will review your program evaluation and receive advisement on selecting courses for self-registration.

Group advisement is available for most students and ensures efficient use of your time. Our events feature a general information session during which the Transfer Admissions team provides information on Kean policies and step-by-step instructions on how to search for and enroll in classes. Students also receive faculty advisement and enroll in their classes - with the support from advisors as needed. 

Some programs require personal advisement appointments. Students enrolling in Michael Graves College, Speech-Language Pathology, Nursing, and Computer Science: please log into the accepted student section of the Cougar App portal to find the contact information of your academic advisor and set up an individual appointment.  

Advanced registration for all advisement appoints is required. The Transfer Admissions team recommends all students receive advisement and register for courses before the University closes for the holiday break on December 23, 2024.
