Our Mission
The Division of Integrated Health, Safety and Response Services at Kean University is committed to supporting student well-being through compassionate care in a safe campus environment. By uniting the Kean Wellness Center, the Department of Public Safety, and the Cougar Connections Center for Social Work, we provide coordinated services that address students’ health, well-being and safety needs. Whether facing a health issue or personal difficulty, students can rely on our team to connect them with the right support. Our mission is to ensure every student feels supported, protected, and able to climb higher at Kean and beyond.

Student Health Services
Student Health Services is dedicated to ensuring the health of all students of Kean University. Services include: Primary care, STI testing and Sexual Reproductive Health.
Accessibility Services
The Office of Accessibility Services (OAS) is committed to ensuring equal access, full participation and an accessible learning environment for all Kean University community members.
Kean Counseling Center
The Kean Counseling Center and Alcohol and Other Drug Services provides Kean students with a range of counseling, consultation and referral services to address their mental health and wellness needs.
Cougar Pantry
Cougar Pantry offers an assortment of donated non-perishable foods and health and hygiene products that are complimentary for registered Kean University students.
Cougar Connections Center of Social Work (CCCSW)
Cougar Connections Center of Social Work (CCCSW) is dedicated to providing campus and community services that assist and support students on their path to graduation. Cougar Connections Center of Social Work (CCCSW) offers support resources designed to enhance and improve student well-being, daily life and overall collegiate experience.
Alcohol and Other Drug Services
Welcome to Alcohol and Other Drug Services information and resource page. Alcohol and Other Drug Services is part of the Kean Wellness Center and is available to help students with substance use concerns for themselves and that of family or friends.
Department of Public Safety
Our mission is to provide a safe and secure campus by maintaining quality police, safety and security services in partnership with the community we serve. The department provides the full spectrum of law enforcement services, from uniformed patrol to a fully staffed criminal investigations bureau. The department also works in close cooperation with the surrounding municipal and county law enforcement agencies, as well as stakeholders throughout the other University departments, to provide the safest possible environment for our community.
Risk Management
Risk Management is a universitywide resource that assists the Kean community with identifying and mitigating the various risks and exposures associated with the university's diverse operations.
