Opening Day 2026

Kean University faculty, staff, students and friends are invited to President Lamont O. Repollet, Ed.D.'s annual Opening Day Address on Thursday, August 27 at 10 a.m. in Wilkins Theatre.

Members of the Kean community may attend in person at Wilkins Theatre or watch the livestream.

The President's address will be followed by an Opening Day Welcome Reception at the Liberty Hall Academic Center (LHAC). Faculty and staff are invited to gather for refreshments.

Opening Day activities also include Deans’ Meetings, All-College Meetings, Departmental/School Meetings and more. Meeting schedules will be posted soon.
