Kean Ocean

Due to icy conditions on the Ocean County College campus, all classes and activities at Kean Ocean will be conducted remotely on Wednesday, January 28.

This remote schedule applies only to Kean Ocean. Kean’s main campus in Union and Kean Skylands will operate as normal.

Only essential personnel should report in person for work at Kean Ocean. Employees with questions about their status should consult their supervisor.

Opening Day

Kean University faculty, staff, students and friends are invited to President Lamont O. Repollet, Ed.D.'s annual Opening Day Address on Thursday, August 28 at 10 a.m. in Wilkins Theatre.

Members of the Kean community may attend in person at Wilkins Theatre or watch the livestream on the Kean website.

In this Opening Day Address, President Repollet will reflect on Kean’s historic growth over the last five years, highlight the major milestones that have been achieved and look ahead to the future of the university.

The President's address will be followed by an Opening Day Welcome Reception at the Liberty Hall Academic Center (LHAC). Faculty and staff are invited to gather for refreshments.

Opening Day activities also include Deans’ Meetings, All-College Meetings, Departmental/School Meetings and more.
