National Security Studies
Address today’s most pressing security challenges, from terrorism and cyber threats to corporate and international security in Kean’s National Security Studies bachelor's program.
Recognized by the National Security Agency (NSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) for excellence in cybersecurity and intelligence education, the program offers specialized coursework, internships, research opportunities and certificate options that prepare students for careers in government, law enforcement, intelligence, cybersecurity and private industry.
Flexible degree options allow students to pursue a second major or minor in complementary fields such as business and computer science. Students may also choose a national security/cybersecurity double major with advanced coursework in intelligence, computer security, ethical hacking and network defense.
