Kean students from the General Education Learning Community visited Newark's Office of Violence Prevention and Trauma Recovery to see civic engagement in practice, meet community partners and learn about trauma-informed support.

Students from Kean University and neighboring schools came together to test their cybersecurity skills in an innovative competition. Using Bluetooth Low Energy smart tags and real-world problem-solving, participants learned teamwork, creativity and cutting-edge security applications.
