The Rideshare Voucher Program offers a limited number of subsidized Lyft rides between the Kean Union and Kean Jersey City campuses. It is available to eligible students, faculty, and staff whose schedules require attendance at both campuses on the same day.
Shuttles come first. The intercampus shuttle is the primary way to travel between campuses. Vouchers are approved only when the shuttle cannot reasonably meet your travel need.
The Basics
Up to three vouchers per semester, Fall and Spring
Each voucher covers up to $40.00 toward one one-way trip
Riders cover any cost above $40.00 and any tip to the driver
Vouchers expire at the end of the semester and do not roll over
Who Can Apply
Currently enrolled students and active faculty and staff
Confirmed obligations at both campuses in the same semester
A valid Kean University ID. The digital ID in the GETapp is accepted
