What is Physical Well-Being?

Physical well-being refers to the state of your body’s health and functioning, which involves regular exercise, balanced nutrition, adequate sleep, and preventive care. It also includes managing stress, avoiding harmful habits, and seeking medical attention when necessary. Additionally, your physical environment—such as having a safe, clean, and supportive space—plays an important role in physical well-being. A healthy environment can reduce risks, promote comfort, and support overall health, while poor surroundings can negatively impact both physical and mental wellness.
