Well-Being at Kean for employees partners with Personify Health (Formerly known as Virgin Pulse) to bring you a new level of interaction for your health journey.
What is Personify Health?
Personify Health is a health and well-being platform that provides the tools and guidance to develop and maintain healthy habits.
- Easy to set up; simple to use - In minutes, you can set up an account, take a quick Heath Risk Assessment, and start exploring health topics that interest you.
- Set Your Own Goals - The yearly Health Risk Assessment will customize the platform to your individual health needs and goals
- Accessible Anywhere - You can access Personify Health 24/7 with a desktop and mobile options
- Track automatically - Get credit for the activities you’re already doing. Sync a fitness app or device (optional) to automatically track physical activity, sleep, and more.
- Build Community and Get Connected - Invite colleagues, get involved in University step challenges, post shout outs and encourage your colleagues!
- Get Rewarded - Earn points for completing healthy activities and habits. These points turn into cash rewards that can be spent on gift cards (including Mastercard's!), or donate to charity.
Getting Started
Who is eligible?
All Kean University full-time employees are eligible to participate and earn rewards on Personify Health.
Do I have to be enrolled in Kean's benefit plan to earn Rewards Cash?
No! All full-time employees can participate in Personify Health and earn Rewards Cash regardless of their enrollment in Kean's benefits.
How do I connect to Personify Health?

After you have enrolled for the first time, use Single Sign On for a seamless, sign-on experience by clicking the link below and bookmarking it for future reference:

How much can I earn on Personify Health?
When you participate in Personify Health, you could earn up to $125 in the program year, from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027. This is your opportunity to earn points and get rewarded for developing and maintaining healthy habits.
How it works:
- Level rewards: Earn up to $25 each quarter by reaching Level 4 - $100 per program year (6/1/26 - 5/31/27)
- Action rewards: Earn up to $25 for completing the Health Risk Assessment per program year (6/1/26 - 5/31/27)
Earn up to $125 in rewards cash total per program year
How can I use my rewards cash?
You can spend your Rewards Cash by redeeming for a gift cards, such as a Mastercard, Target gift card, Starbucks gift card, Home Depot gift card, Amazon gift card and many more! Or, if you are feeling charitable you can donate to the charity of your choice.
Can I invite people outside of Kean University to join Personify Health?
Yes! Each employee can invite 10 friends (Outside of Kean)/family members to join Personify Health. You will be able to share your Well-Being journey with those you hold near and dear! Friends and family will be able to connect an activity device and join you on personal challenges. They will also be able to see content, such as daily cards, healthy habits, and media.
Friends and Family will NOT have access to exclusive member benefits such as points and cash rewards.
Does Personify Health replace the benefits given by NJWell?
Personify Health does not replace NJ Well. For employees eligible to participate in NJWell through the Horizon or Aetna health plans, we encourage you to take advantage of both opportunities.
Please note - Personify Health and NJWELL require separate Biometric screenings. Therefore, please navigate through the Personify Health platform to complete a biometric screening for Personify Health, and then navigate through the NJWELL platform to complete a separate biometric screening for NJWELL.
Earning Points - Biometric Screenings
Follow these steps to complete a Biometric Screening and get rewarded!
- Login to Personify Health
- Navigate to the Home tab on the top row - click "Rewards" on the drop down menu
- Scroll down to the All Rewards category and click "Complete Biometric Screening" - this will bring you to the Quest pop out, then complete all information on the Quest Website to upload Biometric Screening Data.
Why do the stats (steps, etc.) I see on my activity device (Fitbit, etc.) differ from what I see in Personify Health?
Due to the timing of the data syncing, it may appear as if there is a delay in the data you see on your activity device versus what you see in Personify Health. Your activity device syncs first with its own app/server. Then, it syncs with Personify Health. To see your stats in real-time, simply open your activity device app first and allow it to sync data and then open the Personify Health app. Apple Watch users must open the Personify Health app once every 14 days for the data to sync.
Does Personify Health share my information with Kean University?
Kean University does not receive personalized data from Personify Health. Any information received has been de-identified and aggregate - therefore we receive no personal, identifiable information from Personify Health.
