Welcome to the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at Kean University. We believe that the future of physical therapy lies within the ability of new professionals to continually demonstrate the value of physical therapy by driving the evidence for patient outcomes, scholarly advancement, and the professional advocacy efforts of our profession. The purpose of the DPT program is to educate, develop, and support aspiring Doctors of Physical Therapy to become skilled clinicians who are prepared to efficiently enter a dynamic clinical practice environment.
Doctor of Physical Therapy This is an entry level program for all undergraduate holders of any major.
All applications to the Kean University DPT program are now available on PTCAS (www.ptcas.org).
The DPT Program begins in the Summer I Term. Application deadlines are as follows:
PTCAS "Soft" Deadline (highly recommended): October 1st PTCAS "Hard" Deadline: December 1st
Review of applications will begin following each deadline and when applications have been "verified" through PTCAS. BOTH the PTCAS application and the Kean University DPT supplemental application MUST be completed and "verified" by the deadline in order for the application to be fully reviewed. Kean University reserves the right to review applications received after the October deadline on an “as-needed” basis, in accordance with PTCAS deadline definitions.
