Civil Security — Leadership, Management and Policy (CSLMP), D.Sc.

The Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Civil Security—Leadership, Management and Policy (CSLMP) at Kean University prepares experienced professionals to address complex security challenges through advanced study, research and applied leadership.  

Drawing from national security, homeland security, intelligence, corporate security, cybersecurity, emergency management and related disciplines, the program takes an interdisciplinary approach to improving community resilience and organizational preparedness. Through a scholar-practitioner model, students work closely with expert faculty while developing original research that contributes to the field and supports real-world solutions. Graduates are prepared for executive leadership positions, policy development, consulting and postsecondary teaching roles.
