Environmental Management (M.S.)
Kean University’s Master of Science (M.S.) in Environmental Management is a comprehensive, interdisciplinary program designed to prepare the next generation of leaders for roles in environmental management, policy development and sustainable practices. Bridging the gap between science, management and policy, the program equips students with the practical skills and interdisciplinary knowledge necessary to address complex environmental challenges at local, regional and global scales.
This is the only graduate-level environmental management program in the state of New Jersey. It offers students a unique opportunity to blend science with practical management and public policy experience, preparing them to lead large-scale projects and manage diverse teams.

Research
Research is offered as 6-credits of the 31-credit program.
Note: If students choose to pursue research option, funding may be available to cover ½ of their tuition for one year. Those students wishing to take part in research will have to write a short essay about their research interests.
