Media shapes how stories are told and experienced across platforms and audiences. Kean's Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts program prepares students to create and analyze media through hands-on work in film, video, media writing, audio and digital production, combined with the study of cinema, media history and cultural context. Students develop creative, technical and analytical skills across multiple media formats, while exploring their own conceptual interests through advanced coursework.
Graduates emerge with a versatile skill set, a portfolio of original work and the preparation for entry-level roles such as production assistant, research assistant, script advisor and post-production assistant, as well as continued study in media, film or related fields.
