Course Templates
Instructors have the option to browse and use pre-created course templates available in Canvas Commons, which can be accessed through the Global Navigation. Within Commons, faculty can explore a variety of resources, including homepage, course, and module templates that can be easily imported or downloaded directly into their course. These templates provide a strong starting point for building organized and engaging course content and help streamline course design.
Course Accessibility
Anthology Ally may be utilized within Canvas courses to help ensure accessible course content for all students. Ally scans course materials and provides an accessibility score, with a goal of reaching as close to 100 percent as possible, along with actionable remediation suggestions. By addressing these recommendations, instructors can improve accessibility and create a more inclusive learning experience. For assistance, instructors can submit a service request through the IT Support Portal for Ally Course Accessibility.
