Microsoft 365: Your Hub for Campus Collaboration and Productivity
Kean Information Technology provides access to the Microsoft 365 productivity suite through an institutional license, offering a robust set of tools to support communication, collaboration, and daily work across campus. All students, staff, and faculty may access M365 applications via the web and download desktop applications on up to 5 different devices. This suite includes essential applications such as:
Outlook: The official platform for university email communication, calendar scheduling, and contact management.
Teams: A central hub for chat, video conferencing, file sharing, and collaborative workspaces—used widely for departmental coordination and student engagement.
Outlook and Teams are the University’s primary platforms for communication.
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint: Industry-standard tools for document creation, data analysis, and presentations.
OneDrive: Personal and secure cloud storage for backing up and sharing files across devices.
SharePoint: A powerful tool for building team sites, managing team documents and files, and streamlining workflows.
Forms: Create surveys, quizzes, and feedback forms for academic and administrative use.
Planner and To Do: Organize tasks, track progress, and manage team responsibilities.
These tools are integrated into daily operations and are essential for maintaining a productive and connected campus environment. All Kean University-managed devices are distributed with M365 applications pre-installed.
In addition to Microsoft 365, faculty members also use Navigate360 to support student success through advising, appointment scheduling, and progress tracking.
