Dr. Shamburg the Coordinator of the Ed.D. in Educational Technology Leadership. He is the author of three books and numerous peer-reviewed articles on educational technology.  His scholarship of the last ten years has focused on how people pursue lifelong learning outside of formal education. He has earned several awards for his teaching, including the New Jersey Governor’s Award for Outstanding Teacher Educator, an International HP STEMX Catalyst Award, and two National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowships.  He has served as the NJCU Senate President and the AFT 1839 Executive Vice President. Before working in higher education, he was a high school English teacher at the Hudson County Schools of Technology in Jersey City, NJ.
