Three Kean University Alumnae Named New Jersey County Teachers of the Year

Kean University is partnering with 1 Million Cups to help students and budding business owners collaborate and innovate. 1 Million Cups is a nationwide program designed to accelerate early-stage startups.

Three Kean University alumnae, Kristy DeFazio of Middlesex, Teresa Muzzo of Sussex, and Victoria Sasso of Union, were each named 2017 Teacher of the Year in their respective counties by the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE).

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a new history of Kean University is a tome of epic proportions. Kean University, The Campus History Series, tells the story of Kean University through photographs and images, 213 of them.

Professor Kristine Mirrer, Ph.D., of the School of Communication, Media and Journalism was one of approximately 25 scholars invited by the International Radio and Television Society (IRTS) to attend a series of faculty seminars focused on freedom of the press and journalism in changing times.
