Research Days 2020
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation, Kean Research Days 2020 is being restructured into a web-based experience. The new Research Days 2020 website will be live on Tuesday, April 28.
All currently registered participants whose abstracts have been approved are invited to participate in this web-based experience.
We will be using the following formats to display projects:
Research Days Program Book
A full-color flipbook containing all student abstracts, faculty abstracts, and awardee information will be posted on the Research Days website. All students who registered by the deadline and had their abstract approved will be included. No further action is needed.
Poster files will be displayed as high-resolution images in photo galleries organized by college. The extended deadline to submit a poster file is Monday, April 20. Existing guidelines for poster size and file type remain the same. Students should continue to submit PowerPoint files, not images. Specific instructions and tips on preparing your poster are on the “Poster Guidelines” page.
Student Oral Presentations and Exhibits
Oral presenters and exhibitors are invited to prepare a 3-minute video about their research or creative project. After approval by the faculty mentor, the video will be uploaded to a Kean Research Days YouTube channel. Guidelines and tips for preparing your video are on the “Video Guidelines” page. The deadline to submit a video file is Monday April 20.
Faculty who have been previously selected to present during Research Days are invited to record a 3-minute video summarizing their research and will have the option to upload a PowerPoint of their full presentation. Guidelines and tips for preparing your video are on the “Video Guidelines” page. The deadline to submit a video file is Monday, April 20.
Student presenters who registered for 2020 Research Days are strongly encouraged to submit their full research paper or creative project to the Kean Quest journal. All registered students will receive information about Kean Quest submissions.
Kean Research Days is a campus-wide celebration of faculty-student research and creative activity. This annual event provides students the opportunity to present their preliminary or completed research and creative activities to the campus community. All Kean students who are conducting original research or creative work under the supervision of a faculty mentor are eligible to present. Team projects are encouraged.
Presentation Formats Include
