2026 Student Researcher Award Nominations
Nominations are now open for the Research Days 2026 Student Researcher Awards, which will honor one undergraduate student and one graduate student for outstanding achievement in research, scholarship, and creative inquiry.
Faculty mentors are encouraged to nominate students whose work demonstrates originality, rigor, and a meaningful contribution to their field. Based on the nominations received, one undergraduate and one graduate student will be selected.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student at Kean University.
- The research, scholarship, or creative work must have been conducted primarily during the student’s enrollment at Kean University.
- Work must demonstrate originality, rigor, and meaningful contribution to the student’s field of study.
- Students must have a faculty mentor who can support the nomination.
- Prior recipients of the Research Days Student Researcher Award are not eligible.
- Nominations must be submitted by the stated deadline (Monday, March 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.).
Award recipients will be recognized during Research Days 2026 and will receive:
- An honorarium
- A certificate of recognition
