Event Coordinator
Reenat Munshi is the Director of Student Research and Innovation at Kean University, where she leads initiatives that expand undergraduate and graduate student research opportunities. She works with the Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships (CURF) and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs to support faculty-student collaboration, research programming, and innovation across the university.
Munshi oversees major research initiatives, including student research programs, fellowships, and Kean Research Days, the university’s annual event that showcases student scholarship and creative work across disciplines. She also played a critical role in Kean University obtaining its R2 (High Research Activity) designation, helping advance the university’s research infrastructure and student engagement in scholarly work.
Her work focuses on fostering a culture of inquiry, supporting experiential learning, and helping students develop research and presentation skills that prepare them for graduate study and professional careers. She is committed to expanding access to research opportunities and strengthening the university’s student research ecosystem.
