What You Learn

As a clinical laboratory science student, your coursework will focus on chemistry, biology, microbiology, math and statistics. You will practice laboratory skills, like safety procedures and lab management, as well as receive hands-on training in a medical setting.

  • Analyze bodily fluids and tissue samples and record findings
  • Gain knowledge and skills in diagnostic testing, research, information management, marketing and administration
  • Operate sophisticated laboratory equipment in state-of-the-art facilities
  • Develop a professional network through real-world experience

For required certification, students must take the American Society for Clinical Pathology Exam after finishing the program.
