Recreation Administration is about managing recreation, sport and event services as well as helping people stay active, improve their health and fitness, and have fun. Recreation Administration offers a unique and comprehensive program to combine recreation, sport and event management, expanding student opportunities to find employment. Recreation Administration affords students the opportunity to pursue a professional career in community, sports, events, hospitality settings.
Graduates work with such job titles as Sport Manager, Recreation Director, Event Coordinator, Athletic Director, Program Coordinator, Superintendent of Recreation and Parks, and Facility Manager. Students may select an emphasis in one of two option areas (concentrations) under the Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Administration:
