Teaching Philosophy
My nickname is Jonathan. This nickname was adopted from a seagull's name in Richard Bach's novel and stands for my teaching philosophies. I pursue the high ideals of scholarship and professorship in teaching public values and promoting civic engagement to reach marginalized people in the global civil society. I believe that teaching is a mutual learning process and consider every class a group journey for students' learning and success.
