Teaching Philosophy

Every aspect of business, indeed every moment of our lives, is about making sense of our experience and acting in response.  I teach students to be open and carefully examine every aspect of the context and culture in which they will work. I combine lectures with personal narrative, including examples from current events, creative exercises, role play and more.  I want to make success achievable and help each student to do their best.

The best part about teaching at Kean University

For me, there is nothing like the experience of engaging with students in lecture and dialogue and "watching the lights go on" as they gain knowledge, understanding and the ability to apply both to their work and lives.

My students should know

I have played the guitar since I was 12 and I have a deep appreciation for the Delta Blues music of the 1920s and 1930s. I have a unique Master's degree in Complexity, Chaos, and Creativity.
