Teaching Philosophy
The most important skill to teach students in any scientific discipline is critical thinking. I emphasize the scientific method in my classes, fostering creative problem-solving and scientific reasoning in students to help prepare them for the challenges of a career in science. I also encourage active engagement and student participation. Students learn more when they are involved hands-on.
