Kean University

Professor Charles Daniels is an adjunct professor in the Accounting and Finance Department at the College of Business and Public Management with over 24 years of college-level teaching experience in financial, managerial, cost and computerized accounting at both graduate and undergraduate levels. He served as a Lecturer and is currently serving as an Adjunct in the School of Accounting and Finance at Kean University. During these years he also served as a Substitute Assistant Professor and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Business Department at New York City College of Technology (City Tech), City University of New York (CUNY).

Prof. Daniels earned a BBA degree in accountancy from Baruch College and an MS degree in Taxation (distinction) from Long Island University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

In addition to teaching, Prof. Daniels has public accounting experience working with Arthur Andersen LLP in the audit practice. He also held accounting positions in various public companies including Colgate Palmolive Company and Barclays Interpayment.

Prof. Daniels also provided volunteer financial and other business advisory services to National Service Association of North America, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, and during his tenure at City Tech, he supervised volunteers in the Volunteer Income Tax Preparation Program.
