Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy centers on helping students connect management concepts to real-world decision making. I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students actively apply theories through discussions and projects. By integrating practical tools and emerging technologies such as AI into coursework, I aim to equip students with both critical thinking skills and the analytical capabilities needed for modern organizations.
Research Interests
My research spans three primary streams. First, I examine how CEOs’ cognition shapes strategic decision making and firm behavior. Second, I study how immigrant populations influence entrepreneurial activity and economic development in receiving regions. Third, I investigate the interactions among components within digital platform ecosystems. Methodologically, I combine advanced AI-based approaches—such as large language models and large-scale text analysis—with traditional econometric techniques to study complex organizational and social phenomena.
