Professor George Eliopoulos is an adjunct professor in the Accounting and Finance Department at the College of Business and Public Management. Prof. Eliopoulos graduated with an MBA from Yale University. While an MBA student at Yale he worked as a Teaching Assistant in Economics. After graduating, he worked for many years with large Wall Street firms in capital marks, securitizations, interest rate, equity and commodity derivatives, and other complex financial instruments. Some of his early work was published in Derivatives book.

During his professional career he passed the requisite exams and held the following licenses: Series 24, Series 7, Series 31, Series 66 and Life and Health Producer license. In addition, he worked as a federal regulator implementing the Dodd-Frank Act requirements for large systemically important financial institutions regarding capital, liquidity, leverage, etc.
