Interactive engagement of students during class and outside of the classroom promotes learning. This is confirmed through frequent feedback from students. Class materials should be up to date, relevant and provided on multiple technology platforms. Students seek structure in the course and in the assignments. Cohesive team interactions throughout the course provide incentives to achieve in the class, promote learning, and result in a desirable, engaging classroom experience. When the student looks forward to coming to class and finds the course to be the "best one they took all semester," then students are likely to learn and achieve more.
