Kelli Peterson, MBA
Professor Kelli Peterson is an adjunct professor in the Accounting and Finance Department at the College of Business and Public Management in the Ocean campus. She is a lifelong resident of New Jersey, and passionate about running and has participated in several marathons, utilizing this activity to connect with nature and enjoy the outdoors.
Professionally, Prof. Peterson serves as a Lead Process Engineer for Target Corp while also fulfilling her role as an adjunct professor at Kean Ocean, where she teaches Corporate Finance and Operations Management. Also, her career includes over twelve years in banking, and she is currently enjoying a robust career within the supply chain sector.
As a staunch proponent of lifelong learning, Prof. Kelli is pursuing a PhD in Business Administration focusing on Supply Chain Management, which she anticipates completing in 2026. Her educational background includes an Associate's degree from Ocean County College, a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Women’s Studies from Rutgers University, and an MBA in Finance from Montclair State University.
Additionally, in her personal life, she is the proud owner of two delightful dogs named Cookie and Cream, who keep her busy and bring joy to her days.
